Dr. Angela Callahan
A 2007 graduate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Angie Callahan has had an affinity toward animals since a very young age. Growing up in Cincinnati, Dr. Callahan loved and cared for countless stray animals she brought home. She honed her animal skills while working at The Cincinnati Zoo and Aquarium over nine years and developed small animal techniques at veterinary hospitals over twelve years in Cincinnati and Columbus. After earning a bachelor?s degree in biology at University of Cincinnati, Dr. Callahan moved to Columbus to pursue her degree in veterinary medicine. While in veterinary school, Dr. Callahan was involved as a class officer, belonged to Omega Tau fraternity, and co-authored a survival guide for freshman veterinary students. Some of her professional interests include; surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, and endocrinology (e.g. diabetes, thyroid disorders). In 2008, Dr. Callahan married her best friend and they took a trip of a lifetime to Ireland to experience their heritage! Outside of work, Dr. Callahan enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their 2 Labradors and 3 cats. |
