Dr. Jane Flores:
Dr. Flores is a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed a small animal internship at the same institution the year following graduation. She has since spent her time practicing in both private practice and in academia at The Ohio State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Flores has recently joined Perimeter Veterinary Hospital to bring integrative medicine to our patients through the use of acupuncture therapy.
Dr. Flores is a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She spent over 120 hours in lecture and labratories to learn the art and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture treatment. She also completed an internship with a well known veterinary acupuncture practice, Loving Touch Animal Hosptial, in Atlanta, Georgia. After completion of her course work, she sat for a 2 day examination and completed a publishable case report. Dr. Flores has enjoyed performing acupuncture on all species of animals for over 3 years now and continues to be amazed with the benefits that it can provide to a patient's quality of life.
Dr. Flores and her family live in the Plain City area. She keeps very busy trying to balance work and family life with 2 young children and a husband at home. The Flores family also contains a yellow lab (Caribou), an english bulldog (Peanut), a one eyed cat (Will) and their guinea pig (Berneice).
